Victim Stabbed Near Laurel 7-Eleven In Critical Condition, New Info On Suspect Released: Police

Police have launched a manhunt in Maryland as they attempt to track down a wanted man who stabbed a man in broad daylight near 7-Eleven in Laurel and left his victim with critical injuries.

Carlos Corrales-Ramirez, 20, has been identified as the main suspect involved in a stabbing shortly before noon on Tuesday, Feb. 21 at the convenience store in the 14600 block of Laurel Bowie Road, according to the Laurel Police Department.

Police say that the victim was found on Tuesday afternoon and rushed to a local hospital in critical condition.

On Wednesday, Feb. 22, a police spokesperson said that the 23-year-old victim was still listed in critical, but stable condition at the hospital, and they identified Corrales-Ramirez as a suspect.

Later on Wednesday, police released new information about Corrales-Ramirez, describing him as being a 6-foot-2 Hispanic man who weighs approximately 180 pounds with black curly hair and brown eyes.
